When the title “Seven Wonders of the World” is tossed around, it can actually refer to lots of sites making it a little confusing. It first referred to ancient sites around the Mediterranean–most of which have completely vanished–and has more recently been connected with other sites around the world, all of which are man-made and centuries old. These sites will make you marvel at the creativity of man, and the resilience of structures over time.
